It has a lot of history, culture, and exciting places to visit and things to see. Please do more research about things to do before writing off other cities in the future, and before making comments online that would put off people from experiencing a place that really is amazing and worth a visit! The obvs things to see- Minster, Shambles, walk round city walls, Railway Museum, Betty's Tea Shop, Jorvik Viking museum, city museum that has an old-style representation of the Shambles, Pork Pie.

all I found was scammers which is very possible in every country to encounter when you are a foreigner. It's safe to visit. Exercise common sense, do not engage in business of any kind on the street and be wary of people starting conversations with you in touristic or busy areas, 99% they want money. Brescia looks nice in photos but - in the politest way - isn't the most amazing place to visit. Verona is lovely however! In Bergamo, Pizzeria Capri da Nasti on Via Zambonate is so nice. When I visited it was packed with locals, which is always a good sign. I'd also recommend going to Citta Alta and trying some polenta! Of course, they are many more places to visit in Nara so it is definitely worth your trip to there. GrisTooki. • 5 yr. ago. Yes. I consider Nara unskippable if you're going to Kansai. It's one of my favorite places in the country. That said, 3 days/2 nights for both Kyoto and Nara is on the short side.

They are short with long lines and hustled through. Berlin of course is brand new since 1945 so not a lot of old architecture. Munich has a vibrant and relaxed nightlife, and still has A LOT of culture and museums. Budapest is just down the road. Budapest beats Prague imo.
Also if Borneo is worth it outside of Orangutans let me know that as well. Thank you! I (27f) just came back from a month-long solo Malaysia trip a few days ago and my favourite part of the trip was Borneo! I visited Sandakan, the Kinabatangan River, Danum Valley, Semporna and Mabul/Sipadan. I can't comment on Kota Kinabalu etc.
But for a weekend, it's a nice start. Depends on what you're into. Sight seeing: Grand-Place, Manneken-Pis, Galeries Royales St-Hubert, Cathédrale St-Michel et Ste Gudule, Royal Park, Royal Palace, EU quarters, Sablon and Petit Sablon square. Museum: Fine Arts, Magritte, Museum of Natural Science, Bozar David Hockney exhibition,
Good walking - yes, Baku especially is best for that :) 11. [deleted] • 2 yr. ago. Baku is nice especially city center. But I recommend to visit country side also. Very nice landscapes In naxchivan, shaki and Qabala. 15. el_andy_barr.
The Netherlands: Often considered to be one of the most popular sex tourism destinations in the world. Prostitution is legal and regulated while Amsterdam’s, De Wallen, is the largest and most
The public art installations, art museums, and laid-back island life are wonderful. I personally rank Naoshima as my top 3 Japan travel experiences, but YMMV. The architecture in Kurashiki is nice to see. The canal area was neat too. In Okayama, I think the garden and castle are very worth it to see.
Time of visit will most likely be early october, to avoid the crazy heat, but to still enjoy warm weather. Day 1 (Tuesday): Arrive in Barcelona, either 14 or 17 PM, depending on flight. Stroll around Barcelona, find something to eat. Day 2 (Wednesday): Visit Gaudi's architecture, La Sagrada Familia, Park Güell.
I also remember a ceremony with tea lights on the Ganges. Very surreal experience with some time spent in Mumbai and the Golden Triangle, Varanasi was my favorite and felt the most authentic. It is also known as the city of Shiva, and you can find small temples all over the city, so it’s worth getting lost and exploring.
