Looking for an incredibly versatile lens to add to your photography kit? Look no further than the Canon RF 24-105mm F4 L IS USM. Originally released in 2018
RF 24-240mm / RF 24-105 f/4 L prints viewing at normal viewing distance. Base upon my use of the RF 24-240mm I agree with the others that appreciate the lens, and Scott Kelby's video about the lens HERE. Bottom line, yes a 24-105 "L" 4X zoom range lens ' SHOULD ' be sharper than a non-"L" lens with a 10X zoom range.
RF 24-105 f/4L. I want to reiterate the point about the big difference between the Canon RF 24-105 f/4L and EF version. The EF is much more inferior even when compared to other EF L lenses from Canon. The Canon RF 24-105mm F2.8L IS USM Z is the first in a new line of RF Hybrid lenses designed to suit photographers and videographers equally. It gains the Z in its name by virtue of its compatibility with Canon’s two new Power Zoom Adapters, the Power Zoom Adapter PZ-E2 and Power Zoom Adapter PZ-E2B.

When you pixel peek 1;1 on your monitor, RF is a bit sharper in general. The 105mm end wide opened is clearly better. But RF sometimes suffers more from CA's. These are rare occassions. The newer RF 24-105mm f/4-7.1 IS STM is smaller, cheaper and more compact, while the RF 28-70mm f/2L USM has an uncommonly fast aperture but is big, heavy and very expensive, as well as being a wSqJB.
