GoW higher difficulties turns everything into damage sponges which really sucks. Jedi Fallen Order doesn't do that, instead you become a glass canon and the parry window is narrower, forcing you to git gud. Edit: assuming GoW = God of War here but Gears of War might also apply xD.

i refunded my diablo 4 pre order after the beta so i had 100€ left on my xbox account. bought Far Cry 5 10€,jedi Fallen Order 5.99€ and the Last Campfire for 2.99€ (beat all those games) so i had like 81€ left and i loved fallen order sooo much i preordered Jedi Survivor for 80€ right after the credits rolled.

Jedi: Fallen Order pushes all the right buttons for a Star Wars action-adventure. It’s a genre remix that samples the combat and exploration of a lightened-up Dark Souls and the action and energy of Uncharted, and that works out to be a great fit for the return of the playable Jedi.
Plot wouldn’t be a thing if characters just killed everyone straight away. Also cere was a jedi master who had been training for 5 years preparing for vader obviously hes not gonna be an unstoppable god. He’s unstoppable in fallen order because cere was out of pratice and cal basically had the knowledge of a padawan
A mode like Jedi Master or Jedi Grandmaster (two highest difficulties) really makes you focus on the intricacies of battle and this makes the game harder to rush through. It took me probably a little more than 20 hours with mild exploration on Jedi Master difficulty.
I've also unlocked the platinum trophy for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, which added an extra 12 hours onto my playtime, for a total of 34 hours to get all the game's trophies. A word of warning
The strategy goes something like this: Jump and force slam near Vader to stun him for a moment (and remove a large chunk of his stamina bar, too). Then quickly attack the Sith Lord with two to
Keep at it. Took me around a solid 40 min to beat her at Jedi Grandmaster because i kept falling for this one move too (i did make sure i had every skill and stuff before actually going to that planet). Just leep at it, keep going and eventually you will beat her. I wish you luck. Elden Ring's a great game, and I definitely recommend it. However, it isn't like Jedi: Survivor or Jedi: Fallen Order. They are very different games. Jedi: Fallen Order/Survivor are Sekiro-likes (another FromSoftware game), not SoulsBorne-likes. So just because you are good at Jedi: Survivor doesn't mean you'll be good at Elden Ring.
And it feels like you are being way more forgiving with fallen order because "hey its star wars". The combat is sluggish, the animations are bad, the enemies attacks have this wierd magnetism that means you get hit when you should be out of their range. Sometimes thd game doesnt buffer inputs and eats them instead. 3.
Force Slow + long slashing attack or twirling double blade on repeat, taking advantage of regaining force when you hit her after dying, can knock her down to nearly 1/2 health within the first 10 seconds. Back waaaaaay up and deal with the stupid droid slowly. Take a breath. Jump her ground attacks from a distance.
A sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, it was released on PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X/S on April 28, 2023. I beat Darth Vader in a few tries
So right now I'm like 12 hours in, playing jedi master difficulty, and having played a lot of bloodborne / sekiro / ds3. On this difficulty level I think it's fine but some enemies sometime feel a little bullshit and right now I just arrived to a certain part of the game where you fight a lot of different enemies and I'm thinking on lowering the difficulty haha.
It's pretty smooth when you have the timing down. Lots of things you dodge/parry much later than you'd think, though there are a few things (long-armed giant thing's unblockable kick, bounty robot's unblockable charge) that you need to dodge earlier than you'd think. 2. Sentrolyx.
